In this episode of this COVID-19 series, I catch up with Australiaโs most prolific small business author to see how heโs doing. Never a man to stand still for too long, Iโm pleasantly surprised to hear him talk of โslowing downโ and I think thatโs a shift that may be here to stay.
I started Flying Solo and had the pleasure of being ‘head honcho’ for a dozen or so years. Since selling the business to David Kochโรรดs, Pinstripe Media in late 2017, I’ve returned to my roots.
While I continue to write for Flying Solo, produce their podcast and pop up as a presenter and facilitator, I spend the bulk of my time working as a ‘venture strategist’ supporting those going in alone in business.
Being a 60-something, a niche I’m increasingly immersed in is that of the ‘older entrepreneur’. In this role I demystify the process of creating smart, lifestyle-led enterprises and help ensure they turn into viable businesses.
