My Wellness Business: Georgie Way

โ€œI will not love or teach or show you anything perfectly. But I will always let you see me. And I will always hold sacred the gift of seeing you.โ€ย  Brene Brown

Why did you start your business?

Itโ€™s really been a natural instinctive process in my adult life that Iโ€™ve been moving towards – bringing movement, life and joy and peace to peopleโ€™s lives all at once โ€“ and suddenly โ€˜bam!โ€™ thatโ€™s what Iโ€™m doing.

Whatโ€™s your website and most popular social media tag?

Who is your ideal client?

Someone who is up for being real, and honest, with themselves and me, about what they are truly needing, not just what they think they should say they need. And someone who allows me to truly see them so that we can build that rapport that will actually allow us to work together to change their life through practice.

Why do you do what you do?

Iโ€™m at my happiest when Iโ€™m doing what I do – because itโ€™s meaningful to me, and I canโ€™t see anything else bringing me as much joy. It just feels like part of the life I want to live, and the way I want to live it – rather than a โ€˜jobโ€™ or a โ€˜choreโ€™.

Whatโ€™s the best thing about running a small business focused on wellness?

The best thing about running a small wellness business is the quality of love and care and energy that Iโ€™m able to find, and give, and generate between other people โ€“ this is one of the biggest perks. Also that itโ€™s all about the relationship between meย and my clients โ€“ so there is no middle man in-between us, which is even more satisfying.

Best wellness tip for managing your work/life juggle?

It sounds like a clichรฉ โ€“ but my biggest tip for managing work/life juggle is โ€˜practice what you preachโ€™ โ€“ as in, not only do I strike that positive balance for myself, for example now – being a student of and delivering to people online from day one of this shift (40 days ago) โ€“ my content and my way of taking in my learning is part of my work/life balance. Because this is the balance that I feel is important to create in everybody’s lives: it brings an ease and joy to the way I make the content, because itโ€™s exciting, and I continue learning and growing, and I also get the results. It might sound like a physical body balance, but it is muchย MORE! None of my work is done perfectly, which is what is really important when teaching other people. I think it is important because Iโ€™m constantly learning as Iโ€™m teaching โ€“ just as everyone is learning as they are practicing โ€“ and thatโ€™s how you strike the balance.
